Workshops

Hosted in Vancouver and Victoria with small numbers of adult students, our workshops are approximately three hours long and cost $95 (+GST) per spot. You choose your favourite flavour, and we’ll show you all the tips and tricks our bakers use to produce the best macarons! You will enjoy the hands-on experience of piping the shells, filling the macarons and learning all of our recipes. While the macaron shells are baking you'll enjoy a sampling of savoury macarons and a beverage. At the end of the workshop all the macaron are shared amongst the participants, so everyone leaves with 30-40 macarons in several different flavours! (Don't worry—macarons freeze very well!)

Our public workshops are adult-oriented, and while younger people are welcome we do require an adult to attend alongside anyone under 13 years old. We do not recommend any of our workshops for children under 7 years old.

Bon Macaron also hosts private workshops from 6 to 12 people! Following the same format as our regular workshops, learn how to make macarons with your friends, family or colleagues only. Enjoy more one-on-one time with the teacher, and choose 1 extra flavour as a group for the chef to make that you will go home with as well! With more flexibility, we will do our best to fit your schedule. Great for a bachelorettes, birthday parties, workplace team building, or any get together for people that like to have fun - and take home a bunch of tasty macarons!

Does your kid like baking and macarons? Do you have a birthday coming up and are you looking for something fun and different to do? We host small birthday parties where each child gets to bake macarons of the colour and flavour chosen by the birthday child, with a tasty snack of macarons and juice. At the end of the workshop all children divide the baked macarons evenly. The birthday kid will also get to select 6 additional macarons to take home!

The workshop is for 6 to 12 years old. 1 -2 supervising adults required on-site for the duration of the workshop. We do not recommend this workshop for children under or just turning 6. Please be aware that this workshop is held in our commercial kitchen and not a dedicated party space.
